How are you Finding your Rhythm?
Loving God and loving our neighbors requires a certain rhythm to our lives. This rhythm can be cultivated for children starting at a very young age within our households. We can share with them about the rhythms of life found in nature, or the rhythms of life found in art and music. But most importantly, we can help them recognize and learn to follow the rhythm of life found in Christ Jesus. It’s about receiving and giving, about obedience and repentance, about joy and grieving, solitude and action, work and rest.
Maybe your rhythm includes God honoring music in the car on the way to school or taking short walks after dinner to look for God’s beautiful creation or writing a new family prayer together. Maybe your rhythm includes holding on to sabbath time during a busy and burdensome week. And… we’d love for your child to join us in the KIdzConnect each Sunday at 9am or 11am as we explore the goodness of God through the Life of Jesus!
Whatever your rhythm of life looks like these days as a family, may you experience the unforced rhythms of grace as the Good Shepherd guides you.
